Research Data Management (RDM) refers to the organization, storage, preservation, and sharing of data collected and used during a research project. It involves practices and policies that ensure data are, amongst others:

· Accurate and complete,

· Secure and backed up,

· Accessible to collaborators (and, when appropriate, to the public),

· Compliant with institutional, ethical, and funder requirements.
