This section is available to students doing law courses. It consists of the following collections:
- Law Library short loans – Users may borrow one (1) item at a time for two hours. Overnight and weekend loan and fine rules apply per the reserve section rules.
- Law Library open shelves – Students and staff may borrow two (2) items overnight or over the weekend.
Law reference materials can only be used inside the library.
An overnight/over-weekend loan applies from 20:00 on Mondays to Thursdays, from 19:00 on Fridays, and from 12:00 on Saturdays.
Items must be returned no later than 09:00 the following working day.
A late return fine of R10 applies. The fine accumulates by R10 per hour.
